Designated Players
Date: May 1st, 2019
Criteria:
– Players actively playing in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, SPHL or any 1st division European League
– Drafted in the NHL
– Played in the NHL or AHL
– Played in any 1st division league in Europe
– Played a minimum of 100 games in the ECHL or SPHL
– Played a minimum of 100 games in 2nd division Sweden, Finland, Russia or Czech
– Players actively playing in the North American Hockey League
– Unless actively playing, “DP” status will only apply to players under 35 years of age
